What is the thickness of this wrap?
Medium thin
Does it have cush?
Rainbow song is a solid wrap. It is on the thinner side, but has a lot of cush after a good steam iron. It easily molds to the wrapper and wrapee.
How does it feel on your shoulders?
I love how this wrap felt on my shoulders. It was moldable and cushy. Therefore, it was comfortable in any carry that I tried.
How much diagonal stretch does the wrap have?
This wrap has some stretch. I assume that the stretch has much to do with the modability.
How supportive did you find it in a single layer carry?
Ruck carry was very easy to get into place and was solid. My little is not very heavy yet, but I assume that this single layer carry would still be very sturdy as she gains weight.
How supportive did you find it in a double layer carry?
Front wrap cross carry was amazing and baby fell asleep immediately. Baby slept on my comfortably for about 2 hours. The wrap was a little warmer than expected, but because it is winter I didn't mind our little oven.
Can you compare this wrap to another wrap already on the market?
Compared to the linen version of this wrap I would say the hemp blend gets softer quicker, has more moldability, and is warmer. They are equally as gorgeous.
Who do you think this wrap would best be geared to?
This wrap is great for all kinds of babywearers. It would work well for newborns, in single or double layer carries, all the way up to toddlers in a double payer carry. Like the linen version this one shine in a 3 or 4 for short carries.
Would you recommend this wrap to a friend? Why? What did you love about it?
I would definitely recommend this wrap to a friend because it molds nicely to wrapper and child. Also, it easily breaks in with a warm steam iron (or 2). I loved the slight stretch and the gorgeous design.
Please tell us a little more about yourself:
I have been wrapping for about a year. I started with a Moby stretchy wrap, I’ve tried Girasols, Ellevill, and a lot of Tekhni wraps. I would still say I’m still a newer wrapper, but I like to take risks and try new carries all the time. I am a VBE for BWI of Chicagoland and I have tried a lot of different carriers over the last year (or so) of babywearing.
