I had a difficult time getting this wrap comfortable on my shoulders without sandwiching it. However, it felt best in a double hammock with sandwiched shoulders and doubled up chest pass. Thick before breaking in. After initial wash and steam iron it is medium thickness. Does it have cush? This wrap has so much cush. It is mashmallowy and OMG that stretch! This seemed like it was going to be a very thick wrap and difficult to break in. Oh… was I wrong!!! It became floppy and molded right to me and baby with any carry we tried. Dual and Tri-Weave are both medium thickness, with the tri colored being thicker. Does it have cush? Dual colored has a bit of cush.  Enough to make it feel squishy, but not an overwhelming amount.  The  Tri-Weave  doesn't feel like it has cush.   How does it feel on your shoulders? It wasn't the most cushy I have  tried, but very comfortable to carry my toddler. Very soft to the touch I  could cuddle with this wrap and use it as a light blanket. How does it feel on your shoulders? I have very picky shoulders and I had to adjust a couple times while  wearing to make my shoulders more comfortable. I'm always fascinated by the beauty of trees.  This wrap reminds me of warm days, setting under a tree enjoying a book and looking up at the branches with the leaves blowing.
